Asthma GSK Modify Study

This study is evaluating whether early treatment with depemokimab, a long-acting biologic given by injection every 6 months, can reduce asthma attacks and improve long-term outcomes in adults and adolescents with Type 2 (T2) asthma who remain at risk of exacerbations despite standard inhaled asthma treatment. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either depemokimab or placebo in addition to their usual asthma therapy and followed for up to 3 years to assess exacerbation rates, clinical remission, lung function, quality of life, and safety. The study aims to determine whether introducing biologic treatment earlier in the course of T2 asthma can prevent disease progression and help more patients achieve sustained asthma control and remission compared with standard care alone.
